Children's early educational experiences often play an important role in determining how they think and feel about school when they're older. Bethany Lutheran Preschool, located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa helps each child live confidently as a beautiful creation of God by encouraging him or her to develop a positive self-awareness. Parents are also encouraged to participate in many ways to forge a strong connection between family and learning.
A Fun Break for Parents and Kids
As the parent of a young child, you know how hard it can be to find a spare moment to go shopping, get a haircut or even schedule a doctor's appointment. Our Mom's Morning Out program gives busy moms (and dads) the opportunity to take care of errands while your children play, sing songs, make crafts and participate in group activities - all in a safe, nurturing environment.

Spring Break—time for family fun!

Easter—Each class celebrates with an Easter Family Gathering during class time.

Trike-a-thon Fundraiser—The four-year-olds participate in a fundraiser for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
May
Graduation and Closing Ceremony—A graduation ceremony for the four-year-old class and a closing ceremony for the three-year-old class are held to recognize the children.

All School Picnic—this is an opportunity for all of the classes to have a fun time together.
