Preschool

We are pleased that you have chosen, or are considering, Bethany Lutheran Preschool to begin your child’s school experience. We know that you are trusting us with your very best, and we want to assure you that we will be giving our very best.

Bethany began this program of early childhood education in the fall of 1982. Currently we offer morning classes for both three and four-year-olds. Optional extended day programs are available for both age groups starting in October of each school year.

The staff of Bethany Lutheran Preschool operates with a parent board consisting of both Bethany and non-Bethany members. They advise and assist with preschool activities. If you would like a list of the current board members, please contact one of the staff. We are grateful to these dedicated individuals for their time, help and commitment to our program.

Bethany Lutheran Preschool is a non-profit Christian Preschool licensed by the state of Iowa. It complies with all of the standards set forth by the Department of Human Services.

Mom's Morning Out

Mom’s Morning Out is a non-profit, state-licensed Christian organization dedicated to quality care of children and the need for parents to have personal time. MMO was formed in 1989 as an outreach program of Bethany Lutheran Church. MMO is a program that provides quality, nurturing childcare to children from the age of 18 months to 4 years of age. Because quality part-time childcare is difficult to find, the program is designed to meet the needs of stay-at-home parents by providing them time for themselves.

Our mission is designed with a two-fold purpose. We strive to provide a safe, nurturing, stimulating environment where children can learn through play, song, crafts, and group activity about God’s world. We also believe that by giving a parent a period of time on which to depend for free time that they will become stronger in their responsibilities, strengthening their family and their relationship with God.
